Miami Dolphins' defensive end Jason Taylor and linebacker Zach Thomas arrived in Frankfurt, Germany, today and spent time visiting with members of the United States military at Rhein Main Air Force Base.

On behalf of the USO and the NFL, Taylor and Thomas are in Germany this week visiting the United States military as part of the NFL's salute to National Military Appreciation Month.

The Pro Bowl duo had a very busy first day.

After visiting the Frankfurt Galaxy practice, the players arrived at Rhein Main Air Force Base where they were given a tour of a C17 transport plane and visited with 70 special forces personnel who had returned from Iraq earlier this morning and were returning to the United States later today.

On Friday, the two Pro-Bowlers will spend time in the Kaiserslautern military community (K-Town), including Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Landstuhl is where many wounded American service people have received medical attention following Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Saturday, they will visit the Heidelberg military community and later will attend the NFL Europe League's game in Frankfurt, featuring the Amsterdam Admirals and Frankfurt Galaxy.
